Computer Labs

UCF Cocoa has well-equipped computer labs providing a wide variety of computer software applications, including statistical analysis, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and graphics. A valid UCF ID is required for use.

Degree Audit

  • What is an audit?
    A degree audit is an individualized computer generated summary of progress toward completion of degree requirements. It is not an official document, but an advising too to be use for the following:

    • Assist you during advisement
    • List classes to fulfill your degree program
    • Check progress of courses taken
    • Complete your final graduation check
    • Check courses transferred in form other universities
    • Refer to your catalog for official program requirements
  • How do I obtain my audit?
    • Log into the myUCF portal
    • Select “Student Self Service” from the menu.
    • Under “Academics” in the middle of the page, select “Other Academic” then “View my Knight Audit”
    • Print a copy to bring to every advising appointment

Fee Payment

Tuition and fees may be paid online or by mail. Payment is not accepted at UCF Connect locations. Please do not send cash through the mail and VISA is NOT accepted as a form of payment.

  • To pay online: access “Student Self Service” in the myUCF portal. A convenience fee will apply.
  • Fee payment deadlines are available on the Academic Calendars.

Knights Email

Knights Email is the primary email system for all UCF students. The email system is hosted by Microsoft and powered by Office 365, but UCF maintains control of the accounts. All official university communications will be sent through Knights Email.

Log in to Your Knights Email Account

  1. Navigate to the Knights Email website.
  2. Click Knights Account Login.
  3. Sign in with your email address and password.

Parking Information

Parking decals obtained at a UCF Connect location are valid only at the respective campuses. To park on the Orlando campus, an Orlando campus parking decal must be purchased or a daily rate must be paid. For more information access the Parking and Transportation website for the Orlando campus.

UCF Cocoa
UCF students are required to purchase a parking permit from EFSC to park their vehicles on EFSC properties. There is a $40 plus tax charge for an Eastern Florida State College annual parking decal. EFSC parking permits can be purchased at the EFSC Cashier’s office:

UCF Daytona Beach
Parking is FREE at UCF Daytona Beach and parking decals are not required. However, a decal may be required if courses are taken at another UCF Connect location.

UCF South Lake
Parking is FREE at UCF South Lake however, parking decals are required. Students are not allowed to park in guest, visitor or faculty parking spots. Decals can be obtained from:

UCF Altamonte Springs and UCF Sanford/Lake Mary
Parking is FREE at UCF Sanford/Lake Mary, and parking decals are not required.

UCF Valencia East, UCF Valencia Osceola, and UCF Valencia West
Parking decals are free and may be obtained from the Valencia College Campus Security. If you currently have a Valencia College parking decal, you may continue to use it until it expires. To obtain a new decal, please bring your Drivers’ License, car registration, and UCF student ID to the Security Office on your Valencia College campus.

The UCF Connect locations serve as a drop off point for Registrar documents and we can answer general questions regarding readmission, senior citizen audit, and requesting official transcripts (via the myUCF portal).

After selecting courses, students may register by accessing myUCF and utilizing Student Self Service. Registration assistance is available at the UCF Connect locations if you encounter problems.

Students may not register prior to their scheduled appointment time, but students may register any time after their assigned appointment time while registration is open. Students must register for classes prior to the first day of classes and Add/Drop to ensure that they are not assessed a $100 late registration fee.

Please know your UCF ID when requesting a UCF Card.

  • You’re enrolled in classes for the current semester

Textbooks

UCF textbooks may be purchased online through the UCF Bookstore or other online retailers. Textbooks may also be available for rent from the UCF Bookstore or the partner college bookstores. Web Courses

Support for web courses is available by submitting the Web Courses @ UCF Support Request Form

Phone and live chat support are available Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm. Evening and weekend support is provided via email on a limited basis.

Writing Centers

The University Writing Center is a campus resource that offers free individual and small-group consultations to UCF community members, for any writing in any situation. Our purpose is not merely to fix papers but to teach writers strategies to understand and to navigate complex situations for writing, both in and outside the University.

Consultations are also offered at the Rosen Campus Library. Schedule an appointment by logging into TutorTrac from the Orlando Writing Center webpage or calling the Orlando office.
